Data Translation has announced two additions to the ECONseries of low-cost USB modules - the DT 9813-10V and the DT 9814-10V. These are designed for applications requiring higher numbers of input channels. The DT 9813-10V has 16 analogue channels and the DT 9814-10V has 24 analogue input channels.
The new modules can lower the cost of making measurements by over 50%.

Based on the popular DT 9812-10V design, the DT 9813-10V and DT 9814-10V were developed for customers seeking higher analogueueueueue input channel count modules at an extremely low cost per channel.

All modules offer: 12bit resolution for A/D and D/A precision measurements.

The DT 9813-10V and DT 9814-10V ship with the GO Application, providing mini-instruments for the PC.

Signal connections are made directly to the modules built-in screw terminals and plug into any PC's USB port.

This means that they are a truly portable data acquisition solution.

For more advanced applications, the ECONseries modules can be used with DT Measure Foundry, Data Translation's easy to use test and measurement application builder.

It can also be used with an extensive range of software tools available from Data Translation, these software packages can either be downloaded from the Data Translation website or are available on CD.

The DT 9813 and DT 9814 bring the total number of models in the low-cost ECONseries to nine, covering a range of input voltages and available inputs and outputs.
